When we must refer you
With severe pain, wounds, swelling, drainage, or sudden color or temperature changes, seek medical care.
Signs you should not ignore
These situations call for evaluation by a licensed medical professional before any cosmetic service:
- Open skin, wounds, ulcers, or bleeding
- Redness, heat, swelling, or drainage
- Severe or worsening pain
- Loss of sensation or persistent tingling
- Sudden color or temperature changes in the foot
- Nails changing appearance quickly along with discomfort
Why waiting is the safer choice
Cosmetic care works on intact nails and skin. When a warning sign is present, any handling can add discomfort or risk. Postponing service is not a rejection — it is responsible practice.
What we do at Ludeña Foot Care
We perform a pre-service safety screening. If we identify a warning sign, we postpone the service and recommend evaluation by a physician or licensed podiatrist. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
